CRAFT Must Reads: Great Political Stories

by CRAFT | Media / Digital

At CRAFT, we pride ourselves on using innovative strategies to effectively deliver the best message for our clients through any medium. While the tools of the trade may be constantly changing, we are continually guided by the deeper disciplines of our business. Political operatives, business leaders, marketing experts, and historians from both the current and previous generation have recorded and contributed to the guiding principles of our craft. Over the next few weeks, CRAFT will release a series of lists that will highlight some of our favorite works by those inspirational men and women.

This first list contains the stories of famous characters and moments in politics, when the strategic decisions of politicians and political operatives changed the course of history. Whether it’s Theodore White’s legendary The Making of the President, Christopher Buckley’s alert to the power of political propaganda in Thank You For Smoking, or Robert Denton’s modern account of campaigning in The 1992 Presidential Campaign: A Communication Perspective, the CRAFT team would like to share a few of the writers and operatives that have given us inspiration and guide us in our day-to-day work.
